Scheduled Power Interruptions Announced for Multiple Counties on 17th July 2025
NAIROBI, Kenya – July 15, 2025:
Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced planned electricity outages scheduled for Thursday, 17th July 2025, in several counties across the country. The maintenance exercise, set to run for several hours in each affected area, is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the power infrastructure and enhance supply reliability.
The scheduled power interruptions will affect key regions including parts of Uasin Gishu, Kisumu, Siaya, Migori, Nyeri, Tharaka Nithi, Kitui, Kiambu, and Mombasa counties.
