Colonel Mustafa claims E-sir sliced him of Tallia Oyando, she fires back calling him a liar
Colonel Mustafa has opened up about a complicated chapter from his early music career, revealing how a past romantic situation involving Talia almost caused a major fallout between him and the late E-Sir.
In an emotional social media post, Colonel Mustafa reflected on an old photo that he said carries deep memories from his teenage years, when he was still finding his footing in the music industry.
According to the rapper, he and Talia shared a strong connection and were close to becoming more than just friends. However, the situation became complicated because she was also involved with E-Sir, who was not only his friend but also his label mate at the time.
“This photo right here? It carries a lot of weight and a whole lot of history. We’re talking way back, when I was in my late teens and just getting a taste of the game,” Mustafa wrote.
He admitted that emotions, pride, and the pressures of youth nearly pushed the situation into a serious conflict between the two artists.
“Me and Talia had a serious vibe—honestly, we were supposed to be way more than friends. But the streets and the industry are messy,” he shared.
The musician revealed that the situation almost escalated into a full-blown beef between him and E-Sir, as tensions grew within their shared circle.
“I’m not going to lie, the whole situation with Talia almost blew up into a massive, full-blown beef between me and him,” Mustafa admitted.
Reflecting on the experience years later, Colonel Mustafa described the photo as a reminder of how easily friendships and careers could have been destroyed by personal conflicts and misunderstandings during their younger years.
“When you’re young, pride is high, and you’re sharing the same circle, lines get crossed and things get dangerous fast. We almost let a situationship tear down a brotherhood and a label,” he added.
The revelation has sparked conversation among fans of Kenya’s early urban music scene, with many revisiting the legacy of E-Sir, who remains one of the country’s most celebrated musicians years after his death.
Mustafa concluded by saying the image reminds him of “how crazy the game can get” and how close they came to damaging relationships that were bigger than personal disagreements behind the scenes.
Tallia Oyando responded saying:
