Transgender Kinuthia discusses his attempt to get children and future parenthood plans

Transgender content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has opened up about his future plans for parenthood, revealing that he hopes to have two children someday.

Speaking during an interview on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Kinuthia discussed his dream of starting a family and shared how he envisions that chapter of his life unfolding.

When asked how the children would come about, whether he would “give birth or provide,” Kinuthia responded casually, saying he had not yet figured it out.

“Hio time ikifika tutajua sijajua aki,” he said, suggesting that he would cross that bridge when the time comes.

Open to any gender

Kinuthia also explained that he is not particular about the gender of his future children. Asked whether he would prefer a boy or a girl, he said it would all depend on God’s plan.

“Mwenye Mungu ataleta,” he responded.

He further noted that he would happily embrace any combination of children and remains open-minded about the future.

When asked how he would feel if his children turned out like him, Kinuthia maintained a calm and reflective tone, questioning why people should judge others based on who they are.

“Si ni wao, why judge someone?” he said.

Plans to change his ID name

The discussion comes months after Kinuthia publicly spoke about plans to change the name on his Identification Card (ID), citing constant confusion whenever he presents the document.

In a video shared on his social media pages on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the influencer admitted that he had grown tired of repeatedly explaining himself after people questioned whether the ID actually belonged to him.

“Nikama tutabadilisha jina za ID, juu weeeh, guys am suffering, mimi nataka munisaidie, nani anajua kwenye naweza enda kubadilishia ID kwa sababu huku unapeana ID alafu mtu anakuuliza, na yako iko wapi?” he said at the time.

He added that the reactions had become exhausting, joking that people almost accuse him of carrying someone else’s ID.

“I think I should just go and get my ID changed… Karibu waseme nimeiba ID ya mtu. I am tired of explaining myself,” he added.

Public image and personal journey

Kinuthia, who is widely recognised for feminine looks involving wigs, makeup, nails, and stylish outfits, explained that the mismatch between his appearance and official name often creates confusion.

At the time, he even invited fans to suggest possible new names for him.

“Niite just a name, niipatie jina gani? Ebu mnitapitieni jina,” he appealed.

The content creator has also previously spoken openly about personal lifestyle and body-related decisions, including plans involving a uterus transplant journey and his decision to undergo laser hair removal to boost his confidence while creating content.
