Toxic Lyricali opens up about nearly getting stabbed during Kiamaiko incident
Toxic Lyrical has recounted a terrifying experience in Nairobi’s Kiamaiko area, claiming he was confronted by an angry crowd and threatened with a knife during a chaotic incident that left him fearing for his life.
Speaking on the Xtraordinary Podcast, the entertainer narrated how the situation escalated after tensions flared around a vehicle he was driving while in the company of friends, including an associate identified as Gwash.
According to Toxic Lyrical, he attempted to leave the scene after noticing a crowd gathering around his companion.
“I could only see what was happening behind me. People had surrounded Gwash, and I was trying to move away from the situation,” he said.
Vehicle Becomes Stuck Amid the Commotion
The musician explained that as he reversed, the vehicle became stuck after mounting a raised section of the road, making it difficult to move away from the growing crowd.
He said the atmosphere quickly turned hostile, with some people allegedly accusing him of trying to drive into them.
According to Toxic Lyrical, several individuals then approached the vehicle and opened the driver’s door.
“People started saying I wanted to run them over. They came to the car and opened the door,” he recalled.
Alleged Attempt to Drag Him Out
The artist further claimed that some members of the crowd tried to forcibly pull him out of the vehicle as the confrontation intensified.
During the struggle, he said his shirt was torn while he resisted attempts to drag him from the driver’s seat.
The musician described the incident as frightening, saying the situation escalated rapidly and left him concerned for his safety.
