Tiwa Savage has spoken candidly about her love life in an unusually raw and emotional interview, giving fans a rare look into the personal disappointments that have shaped her views on relationships.

During a conversation with media personality Korty EO, the 45-year-old music star reflected on her romantic past with striking honesty. She admitted that most of her relationships left her more disillusioned than fulfilled, ultimately influencing a largely negative perception of love.

“There is hardly any relationship I would look back at and see anything positive. They are all d*cks!” Tiwa said bluntly.

The award-winning singer acknowledged that there are very few past relationships she remembers fondly. With a mix of humour and frustration, she suggested that most of her experiences were disappointing, making it difficult for her to associate love with positivity.

However, Tiwa was careful to note that there was one significant exception. She revealed that she once shared what she described as an “incredible” relationship, one she genuinely treasured, but which tragically ended with her partner’s death.

Although she did not mention him by name, many fans believe she was referring to the late Habeeb Ademola Uthman, popularly known as Obama DMW or “44.”

Obama DMW, a close associate of Davido and a respected figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, passed away on June 29, 2021, reportedly due to heart-related complications.

Following his death, Tiwa Savage paid an emotional tribute on Instagram, describing him as brave, kind, loyal, and deeply protective. In the post, she praised his generosity, strength, and quiet leadership, while expressing heartbreak and confusion over his sudden passing. She also vowed to carry forward the plans and dreams they had once shared.

Obama DMW was the founder of Obama Music Worldwide (OMW), a record label that signed emerging artistes such as Ayanfe. He was also a prominent member of Davido’s 30 Billion Gang and maintained close ties with Davido Music Worldwide, earning a reputation as a powerful behind-the-scenes figure in the industry.
