Betty Bayo’s Children Seek Solace In Naivasha Getaway Days After Burial

Just six days after the emotional burial of their mother, late gospel singer Betty Bayo, her children, Sky Victor and Dany Victor, have travelled to Naivasha for a much-needed vacation.

The children were accompanied by their stepfather, Hiram Gitau (Tash), and their USA-based aunt, Shiru Stuart, along with her children. The trip aims to provide space for healing and rejuvenation following a month marked by grief.

Unwinding at a Luxe Resort

Sky shared a video on her Facebook page on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, showing herself and her cousins happily swimming at a luxurious resort. Her younger brother, Dany, was also seen elatedly playing with his cousin Maina in the large, gleaming pool.

In the caption accompanying the video, Sky expressed the difficulty of the preceding month, emphasizing that the getaway was essential for their well-being.

“Thank you, Travel Club, for coming through! We truly needed to get out of that house and rejuvenate in a relaxing place like this,” she wrote.

Sky reflected on the stunning appearance of the resort, describing it as a beautiful sanctuary that offered rare comfort at a time when their hearts needed it most.

Daughter Shares Details of Mother’s Final Days

The vacation follows Sky’s candid revelation just days earlier regarding the tragic events leading up to her mother’s death.

In a YouTube video on Sunday, November 23, 2025, Sky gave a fuller account of the Saturday her mother became critically unwell. She explained that the crisis began the day before when doctors finally delivered the definitive diagnosis.

“It happened on a Saturday. The day before, the doctors had finally told her the real condition she had, and they explained clearly that it was leukaemia,” she recalled.

Sky said the weight of the final diagnosis was deeply shocking to her mother, who suffered an immediate emotional impact.

“The news shocked her so much that she immediately suffered a stroke,” Sky said.

The stroke immediately affected Betty Bayo’s facial muscles, causing one side of her mouth to shift and slant, signaling the gravity of the medical crisis that had occurred.
