Diamond And Zuchu Confirm Dowry Acceptance
Tanzanian music stars Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu have reportedly taken a significant step in their relationship. On June 1st, 2025, it was announced that Platnumz presented dowry to Zuchu’s family, the Othmans, and it was “joyfully accepted.”
Following the successful dowry ceremony, Zuchu, an artist under Platnumz’s WCB Wasafi label, has affectionately begun referring to him as “mme wangu” (my husband).
The Wasafi mogul himself shared photos from the ceremony, accompanied by a lengthy statement revealing his decision to marry quietly, a move that might surprise many of his fans.
He hinted at a past, undisclosed marriage, stating, “I know each of you has a completely different picture about Diamond Platnumz and getting married, but I just want to tell you today that Diamond Platnumz is married, and one day I will tell you how it happened.” This suggests a deeper, perhaps private, narrative to his marital status.

Even though Diamond previously stated that marriage would slow him down career wise, he seems to have changed his mind on the latter. He already has baby mamas out here and the co-parenting isn’t quite bad. Zuchu is however, the lucky one.
