Huddah Monroe Explains Vows To Never Date Kenyan Men, Explains Why
Socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has ignited a firestorm of discussion online after releasing a scathing video on her Instagram Stories criticizing the perceived disrespectful conduct of Kenyan men.
In the clip, Huddah expressed profound frustration with her interactions, contrasting the approach of Kenyan men with the etiquette she claims to encounter in other countries.
Audacity vs. Permission
Huddah claimed she prefers environments where men approach women with polite deference, noting that in some places, conversations begin respectfully with, “Excuse me ma’am, permission to speak freely.” She argued that this creates space for genuine, healthy dialogue.
Kenyan men, she asserted, often approach her with an attitude of entitlement.
“Kenyan men come with so much audacity,” she said. “If I don’t lay with you, if I haven’t seen you in ten or twenty years, I don’t remember you. Even if I met you yesterday and I’m not interested in dating you, I don’t remember you.”
She added that even her attempts at polite dismissal are often met with offensive or inappropriate remarks, prompting her desire to avoid random public conversations entirely.
“Mkiniona mahali, msinisalimie,” she remarked, asking the public not to greet her unnecessarily.
The Gen Z Exception
Huddah went as far as declaring she would rather remain single than consider marrying a Kenyan man under the current circumstances.
However, she made a singular exception, singling out Gen Z men for praise, describing them as respectful and well-mannered compared to older generations.
“The only Kenyan men who can talk to me are Gen Z,” she stated. “They’re very respectful. These millennial and Wantam-age men are a product of their environment.”
Huddah’s love life has been under wraps for the longest time and she prefers to keep it that way.
