“I Want Six Kids”- Juma Jux Opens Up On Intentional Fatherhood & Family Plans With Priscilla Ojo

Tanzanian R&B sensation Juma Jux has shared rare insights into his journey toward fatherhood, emphasizing that his decision to start a family was a matter of careful selection rather than chance. Speaking during a Bongo radio interview on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the “Enjoy” hitmaker explained that he remained patient for years to ensure he found the perfect partner in his wife, Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo.

Choosing the Right Partner

For Jux, the ability to father a child was never in doubt, but the responsibility of choosing the right mother was his primary focus. He noted that while he saw others starting families early, he felt no pressure to rush the process.

“It was possible for me to have children at any time, like other people, but I was never stressing… because I knew I could anytime,” Jux stated. “For me, having a child is not just anything; it’s a big thing. I had to be deliberate about who I have a child with and whether the timing is right.”

He credited divine guidance for the way his life has unfolded, noting that many of the milestones he had projected for late 2025 actually arrived much sooner once he met Priscilla. “The biggest hurdle for me was finding the right person,” he added.

A Growing Nest: The Goal for Six Children

Following the birth of their first child, Prince Rakeem Ayomide Mkambala, in Canada on August 24, 2025, Jux revealed that the couple is eager to keep the momentum going. He admitted that they feel a sense of urgency to reach their target family size.

“About having more kids, my wife and I know we are running a bit late, so we need to hurry,” Jux shared candidly. “I want five children, and if God allows, I will have six. I am also praying and confident that God will help make that happen.”

From Zanzibar to Canada: A Global Romance

The couple’s journey has been a whirlwind of high-profile celebrations, starting with their lavish wedding in Zanzibar and followed by a star-studded gender reveal in August 2025. Priscilla’s mother, veteran Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, was among the first to break the news of Prince Rakeem’s arrival, expressing her immense joy at becoming a grandmother.

As Juma Jux balances his thriving music career—including recent high-energy reunions with Diamond Platnumz—he appears more focused than ever on his new role as a family man, blending his intentional approach to life with his aspirations for a large, vibrant household.
