Jailed Sean Diddy Possibly Faces New Sexual Assault Allegations
Disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs could face another criminal trial as authorities in Los Angeles review fresh sexual assault allegations against him, even as he serves a multi-year federal prison sentence.
A spokesperson for Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed the ongoing evaluation, stating that both the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) presented separate sexual assault investigations involving a single victim to the DA’s office in late 2025.
The 56-year-old Bad Boy Records founder is currently incarcerated following his conviction in a Manhattan federal district court, where he was sentenced to 50 months in prison on federal charges related to transporting women for prostitution.
Allegations Involving the Legacy of Notorious B.I.G.
The accuser behind the Los Angeles case has publicly identified himself as record producer Jonathan Hay. Hay filed a civil lawsuit against Combs alleging sexual assault, sexual harassment, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress stemming from an incident in 2020.
According to court documents, Hay was working on a musical project for the estate of the late rap legend Christopher Wallace, famously known as Notorious B.I.G. The producer alleges that during a session, Combs ordered him to wear some of Wallace’s clothing before playing adult entertainment on his mobile device and performing a lewd act with one of the late rapper’s shirts in front of him.
Hay further alleges that when he reported the disturbing behavior to Wallace’s son, Christopher “CJ” Wallace, and co-producer Willie Mack, the two men led him directly to a secondary location where Combs allegedly subjected him to a physical sexual assault.
“Diddy just doesn’t show up at the location to violate me the way that he did without there being some kind of correspondence between the other perpetrators,” Hay stated, describing the profound psychological toll the event took on him. “The ultimate betrayal, the ultimate violation as a man for another man to do that to me.”
Camp Wallace Denies Claims, Files Defamation Suit
While Hay claims that CJ Wallace and Willie Mack later reached out to apologize for their role in the setup, legal representatives for the Wallace estate have fiercely rejected the narrative.
In a scathing rebuttal, an attorney for CJ Wallace dismissed the claims as a media-seeking fabrication:
“Jonathan Hay’s allegations against CJ Wallace are absurd and baseless. The case is frivolous and will eventually be dismissed. Unfortunately, the media is not thoroughly vetting Hay’s allegations, which change from day to day and make no sense.”
Baking their denial with legal action, Wallace officially filed a counter-defamation lawsuit against Hay to clear his family’s name.
“Justice is Prevailing”
Despite the pushback from the Wallace estate, the formal escalation of the files from local law enforcement to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office marks a significant procedural shift. If District Attorney Nathan Hochman’s team finds the LAPD and LASD evidence credible, it could trigger a grand jury indictment and force Combs out of his federal cell and back into a California courtroom.
Reacting to the news of the DA’s active case review, Hay expressed relief that institutional wheels are finally turning. “Standing as a survivor of the actions involving Sean Diddy Combs and Christopher CJ Wallace, I view the validation of my accounts by the LAPD and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office as a critical juncture,” Hay said. “This development represents a substantial advancement in my pursuit of complete accountability. Justice is prevailing.”
