Jay-Z Admits Cheating On Beyoncé, Shares Marital Struggles

In a candid interview with The New York Times, rapper Jay-Z addressed the marital struggles he and superstar Beyoncé faced.

Jay-Z acknowledged his infidelity, attributing it partly to unresolved childhood issues. He expressed remorse, stating the pain he caused Beyoncé was the hardest part.

The interview revealed the couple’s journey to reconciliation through therapy. Jay-Z explained how his coping mechanisms led to emotional detachment, impacting their connection. He acknowledged that infidelity can break many marriages, but their dedication and therapy helped them overcome the challenges.

“You know, most people walk away, and, like, divorce rate is like 50% or something ’cause most people can’t see themselves,” he admitted.

These struggles were echoed in their music. Jay-Z’s album “4:44” contained lyrics alluding to his mistakes, while Beyoncé’s “Lemonade” included hints with the now-famous line about “Becky with the good hair.”
