Kwambox and Kerry Martini Bid Kiss FM Gracious Farewell After Sacking

Sheila “Kwambox” Kwamboka and Kerry Martini hosted their final show on Kiss FM on April 30, 2025, marking the end of an era for the popular morning duo.

The farewell episode was an emotional rollercoaster, with heartfelt goodbyes shared on Kiss FM’s social media channels. Fighting back tears, Kwambox admitted, “I thought this was going to be easy, but it isn’t.”

Kerry, who joined the station in 2023, was visibly moved as well. Although he began his radio career in 2015, it was his partnership with Kwambox that resonated deeply with Kenyan audiences.
“If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be a better man or presenter,” he told her live on air.

Kwambox, a seasoned radio host with 13 years in the industry, had announced her departure just a day before the show, signaling a major life shift.
“Stepping into the new you requires letting go of the old you,” she said. “Tomorrow marks the end of a very significant chapter in my life. For 13 years, radio has been my identity. It’s time for change.”

Reflecting on her journey, she added:
“Grateful. Humbled. Ready. From my first show on Homeboyz Radio in 2014 to wrapping up Kenya’s biggest breakfast show on Kiss 100—this journey has been nothing short of a blessing.”

Kerry echoed her sentiments, saying, “As I hang up the mic tomorrow, I do it with a full heart.”

Kiss FM paid tribute to the duo in a touching post:

“To @kwambox & @mrkerrymartin – thank you for the magic, the madness, and the memories. From early mornings to wild laughs, heartfelt moments, and electric energy, you gave our audience a reason to tune in every day. Your chemistry and hustle turned a show into a whole vibe. We’ll miss the banter, the KAPOWWWs, and the moments that made Kiss feel like home. You’ve left behind a legacy of joy, authenticity, and good vibes. You’ll always be part of the Kiss FM family.”
