“Niko Kadi”- Marion Naipei Teams Up With Pastor Kanyari For Nationwide Voter Drive

Social media personality Marion Naipei has taken on a new role as a civic mobilizer, urging Kenyans to secure their identification and voter documents. Speaking at the Salvation Healing Ministry on Friday, April 10, 2026, Naipei represented Pastor Victor Kanyari to promote the #NikoKadiInitiative, a program designed to streamline voter registration for the youth and disenfranchised.

The #NikoKadi Initiative

The drive specifically targets eligible citizens who face bureaucratic hurdles in obtaining essential documents. According to Naipei, the ministry is providing direct assistance to those without national IDs—a prerequisite for voter registration in Kenya.

“We are here to represent Pastor Kanyari. All those who have not registered as voters should do so,” Naipei told the congregants. “Pastor Kanyari is helping those who do not have IDs to get them and also assisting them to get their voter cards.”

Naipei revealed that she is already a beneficiary of the program, using her own status as a registered voter to encourage others to take the process seriously ahead of upcoming electoral cycles.

A Controversial Partnership

The collaboration comes at a curious time, following Pastor Kanyari’s public admission of the challenges he faces in mentoring Naipei. Just days prior, during a March 2026 service, the preacher expressed frustration over Naipei’s struggle with alcohol, even after he had ordained her for church duties.

Kanyari had described the process of guiding her as “trying to tame a wild animal,” noting that she frequently arrived at church late after nights of drinking. “I have been telling her to stop, but she tells me she has stopped, yet you can see her wiping her lips after drinking,” he remarked during a past sermon.

Mission Over Personal Struggles

Despite the publicized friction regarding her lifestyle, Naipei’s presence at the Friday event suggests that both she and the ministry are prioritizing the success of the #NikoKadi campaign. Kanyari has reaffirmed his commitment to mentoring her, viewing her public platform as a valuable tool for reaching young Kenyans, regardless of the personal setbacks she faces.

The initiative joins a growing list of civic mobilization efforts, such as the “Tuko Kadi” campaign, as religious and social leaders ramp up pressure on the government to ensure every eligible Kenyan is documented and ready to vote.
