Pastor Kanyari blesses “Kwa Mbae” lad Kshs 40K
Prophet Victor Kanyari of the Salvation Healing Ministry has come to the aid of the family of Musa Kihara, the young boy who recently went viral for confidently giving directions to the Kwa Mbae shop.
The family attended Kanyari’s church on Sunday, where the preacher extended financial support and appealed for continued assistance from the public.
Financial Support for the Family
During the service, Kanyari presented the family with KSh 40,000 as they continue to deal with a serious health challenge affecting one of Musa’s siblings.
“Familia ya kwa Mbae wamekuja na I have blessed them with 40,000 KSh,” Kanyari told the congregation.
Musa’s mother also addressed those present, revealing that her son is currently battling cancer. She explained that he had undergone a major operation at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Research Hospital.
“We brought him to the hospital on Thursday, and he was operated on Friday. As we speak, he has been moved back to the ward from ICU,” she shared.
Mobilising More Support
Kanyari has since called on Kenyans to continue supporting the family. He announced plans to visit their home on April 26, with the aim of offering additional help as the child continues to recover.
Taking to social media, he encouraged well-wishers to join the initiative.
“On date 26 twende kwao we support him coz he has a brother who has cancer,” he said.
From Viral Moment to Public Attention
Musa Kihara gained national attention after a video of him giving clear and polite directions to a boda boda rider went viral. His use of the phrase “umeelewa” quickly captured the hearts of many online.
As interest in his story grew, visitors to the family’s home discovered they were facing significant challenges, prompting an outpouring of support from well-wishers.
Kanyari’s contribution adds to ongoing efforts by members of the public and notable figures who have stepped in to support the family during this difficult period.
