Kenya Power has announced scheduled power maintenance in several regions across the country on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, as part of its ongoing infrastructure improvement and reliability program. The utility company has expressed regret for any inconveniences that may arise as a result of these outages.

Nairobi Region

Area: Westlands
⏰ Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected areas: Muthithi Square Development Ltd, NSSF, Westpark, UNGA House, Muthithi Road, and adjacent customers.

Parts of Kajiado County

Area: Kitengela
⏰ Time: 12:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected area: Saitoti Hospital and surrounding customers.

Central Rift Region

Area: Kahiga Market
⏰ Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected areas: Kahiga Market, Kahiga Secondary School, Kahiga Dispensary, Kahiga Village, Safaricom and Airtel boosters, and nearby customers.

Area: Kiawara, Ruirie, Nairutia
⏰ Time: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected areas: Kiawara, Lamuria, Bellevue, Kabendera, Ruirie, Kariminu, Tanyai, Nairutia, Mugunda, Ngobit, Kariguini, Mahiga Meru, Matopeni, and surrounding customers.

Area: Tetu Girls, Kagunduini
⏰ Time: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Affected areas: Tetu Boys, Tetu Girls, Kagunduini Market, Karuga Iratho, parts of Gitathini, Njambi Place, Safaricom Booster Kagunduini, and adjacent customers.
