Power Blackout Schedule — Tuesday, 3 March 2026

The following counties and areas will experience temporary power interruptions due to routine network maintenance. Most outages are expected between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EAT unless indicated otherwise:

📍 1. Nairobi County

• Kamukunji area:
  Jua Kali, Shauri Moyo, Muthurwa Primary
  Parts of Gikomba (including social hall, Family Bank, Co-operative Bank)
  Shell Petrol Station, Ismariot Hotel, Nomad Hotel
  Eastleigh High School, Pumwani Boys, Starehe Boys Centre
  Parts of General Waruinge Street

• Mathare and surrounding areas: scheduled outage through the maintenance window.

📍 2. Kiambu County

📍 5. Tharaka Nithi County

• Ciakaringa & Marimanti region:
  Ciakaringa Market, Marimanti Prison, Marimanti Mortuary, Kaari Sheep & Goat area.
  Outage window starts ~8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

📍 6. Mombasa County

• Serena & Pangoni areas:
  Shanzu Market, Pride Inn Flamingo, Safari Club, Kenya Navy Communication Base, Shaza, Kilua, Dolphin Hotel and nearby locations.

📍 7. Kilifi County

• Malindi & Kisumu Ndogo: areas around Naivas Junction, Malindi Products, Serena, Ndugu, Mnani, Malindi BP, CM Steel, Furunzi, Gitaho, Ganda Primary and adjacent customers.

📍 8. Taita Taveta County

• Bachuma area: Bachuma Livestock, Manyatta, Miasenyi and adjacent areas.

📍 9. Bungoma County

• Webuye & Misikhu: Misikhu, Lugulu, Munyikana, Malaha, Tete, Kituni, Lumuli, Makhese, Lukhuna and surrounding residents.

📍 10. Kwale County

• Msambweni & Lungalunga: Msambweni, Lungalunga, Shimoni, Shimba Hills, KMTC, Kenya Navy, Kanana, Mwangulu and adjacent customers.

📍 11. Kisii County

• Magena & Nyangusu: Magena Market, Getai Primary, Nyangusu, Bendere, Mara Tea zones, Kenyoro, Ritembu, Rianyachabera, St Theresa Secondary and surrounding customers.

📍 12. West Pokot County

• Kamatira & environs: Kamatira Primary, Kanisa Mbili, Safari Hotel, Cheptabesia, Kaprom, Leunon, Emboasis and neighboring areas.

📍 13. Nandi County

• Tulon area: Tulon, Corner and adjacent customers.
