Carol Sonnie has changed her daughter’s surname from Oyando to Muthoni after dropping her baby daddy Mulamwah’s name.

The mother of one revealed her daughter’s name change while replying to questions from her fans in a video she posted online.

Sonnie said she made the decision because she wanted her daughter to have a strong female name.

“I wanted her to have a name that represented her strength and independence,” she said.

Sonnie also said that she is currently dating, but she hasn’t unmasked her boyfriend yet because he is camera shy.

“He’s not really comfortable being in the spotlight,” she said.

Carol refused to answer questions about her baby daddy Mulamwah.

“I’m not going to talk about him,” she said.

Sonnie’s decision to change her daughter’s name comes after a tumultuous few months in her relationship with Mulamwah. The couple broke up in May after Mulamwah was accused of cheating on Sonnie.

However, the couple reconciled in June, but they have since broken up again.

Sonnie has said that she is now focused on raising her daughter and building her own career.

Carol Sonnie, the baby mama of comedian Mulamwah, has admitted to being in a new relationship. She made the revelation during an interview with Nicholas Kioko, saying that her relationship is blossoming and that she has gained weight as a result.

“How can I not have someone, given how cold the weather is?” she said.

However, Carol was not keen on revealing the man’s identity. She said that her publicised relationship with Mulamwah taught her an unforgettable lesson.

“I will never reveal his identity. I learned this the hard way in my past relationship. I didn’t know love was this sweet-he gives me the baby girl treatment. I have gained 13kgs.”

Kioko also asked Carol about her take on Mulamwah’s relationship with Ruth.

“That is none of my business. I cannot speak about their business.”

Carol also weighed in on whether she plans to have another child besides Keilah.

“No, let me first raise Keilah. Life is too costly.”

Kioko then asked whether Mulamwah supported his daughter, and Carol was hesitant to respond.

Carol’s decision not to reveal her new partner’s identity is understandable. She has been in the public eye before and has seen how her relationship with Mulamwah was played out in the media. It is clear that she wants to keep her personal life private this time around.

It is also good to hear that Carol is doing well. She is clearly happy in her new relationship and is focusing on raising her daughter, Keilah.

“Hamna, ni makosa tu ya kawaida,” continued Sonie when asked if she cheated or flirted with someone else.

Sonie, who welcomed a baby girl with Mulamwah several months ago, said she asked for forgiveness, but the comedian insisted he couldn’t continue with the relationship.

The two are yet to settle their predicaments; and both happened to have moved on with their new partners. Mulamwah has already decided to cosset Ruth after several months of denying that she was his girlfriend. Similarly, Carol Muthoni has found a new man; whom she doesn’t want to divulge.
