Social media personality and lifestyle influencer Ntazola Gloria has sparked conversation online after urging women to stop accepting what she called “bare-minimum” treatment from men who claim to be high-status but only offer Ksh20,000 for a night out.
In a bold Instagram story shared on Monday, May 19, 2025, Ntazola reminded women of their worth, insisting they are far too elegant and valuable to spend their nights entertaining men for what she described as “pocket change.”
She argued that unless such money is being invested directly into a woman’s business or personal development, it shouldn’t be accepted as a favour or reward for their presence in clubs.
“These men buying you drinks worth Ksh20,000 are who you’re calling ‘big boys’? Let me take you out and get you drinks worth Ksh100,000,” she wrote. “And please, stop dancing at Obilee. You’re far too gorgeous and refined to be outside all night for just Ksh20K—unless he’s investing that in your hustle.”
Ntazola went on to challenge the perception that receiving Ksh20,000 worth of alcohol is luxurious, stating that real class means knowing your value and being selective about who and what you give your energy to. She encouraged women to raise their standards and not be dazzled by flashy gestures that ultimately lack substance.
“Be So Secure, You Could Fund the Side Chick Too”
Adding a provocative twist, Ntazola encouraged women to focus on building their own wealth and independence—so much so that they could even afford to support their boyfriend’s side chick if they chose to.
“Be the kind of woman who’s so financially secure you could even afford your boyfriend’s side chick—just so you can try her too. Have both of them if you want, babe. Who knows, maybe she tastes good,” she quipped.
“Rich Marriages Start with Rich Circles”
Earlier this month, during a TikTok Live session on May 4, Ntazola also gave her take on marrying into wealth, using Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s lavish wedding to Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo as an example.
She pointed out that both Jux and Priscilla come from affluent families and emphasized that marrying rich often means already belonging to the same social class.
“Jux’s family is in the gems and gold trade. Priscilla’s been rich her whole life—she grew up in privilege and has been acting since she was a child. People usually marry within their class. You can’t just sit around hoping someone wealthy will pick you up,” Ntazola explained.
She added that Priscilla, daughter of a Hollywood mogul, is also an accomplished entrepreneur and was previously married to another wealthy man before tying the knot with Jux.
“Priscilla’s life has never been your typical Nigerian story. She’s always been part of that elite world, and her mother is a Hollywood powerhouse. She belongs in that circle,” she said.
Ntazola, known for her unfiltered commentary and viral takes—such as imagining life as the president’s daughter—used the moment to once again stress the importance of women building their own empires rather than waiting to be chosen by wealth.
