Popular Kenyan crossdresser and content creator Kelvin Kinuthia has revealed impressive progress in his weight loss journey, attributing the transformation to the use of Ozempic.
In a recent Instagram post, Kinuthia shared side-by-side photos showing a visible reduction in weight, announcing that he has lost 20 kilograms in just two months—dropping from 148 kg to 128 kg.
“Less weight, more power 😮💨 This is just the beginning. In 2 months 20kgs down,” he captioned the post.
This update follows earlier progress reports Kinuthia had shared with his fans. On May 13, 2025, via TikTok, he celebrated losing 5 kg in the first week of using Ozempic.

“This is a living testimony, my people. Losing 5kgs in 7 days is such a big flex. I’m in week 2 of my Ozempic shots and loving how my body looks already,” he said at the time.
About Ozempic
Ozempic, a brand name for semaglutide, is a medication approved for managing type 2 diabetes. However, it has gained popularity worldwide for its off-label use in weight loss due to its ability to suppress appetite and slow digestion.
The drug mimics a natural hormone (GLP-1) that helps regulate hunger, making users feel fuller for longer. Clinical studies show that it can help users lose 10–15% of their body weight over several months when paired with diet and exercise.
Despite its growing use for weight loss, doctors caution that Ozempic should only be used under medical supervision due to potential side effects like nausea, vomiting, and digestive discomfort. There are also concerns about off-label demand causing shortages for diabetic patients who need it most.

Celebrities Embracing Ozempic
Kinuthia isn’t the only Kenyan public figure to go public about using Ozempic. TikTok personality Pritty Vishy previously revealed in an interview that she had lost over 30 kg with the drug’s help.
As Kinuthia continues his weight loss journey, fans have been flooding his pages with supportive comments, praising his progress and determination.
