Video Of Mulamwah & Sonnie Arguing Over Visitation Resurfaces

A previously unreleased film featuring comedian Kendrick Mulamwah and his former girlfriend Carol Sonnie has gone viral, revealing details about their previous romantic connection and evoking strong feelings on social media.

The video, which was posted on TikTok by @billwonderke, shows Mulamwah and Sonnie joking around and remembering their time together.

They are shown in the video teasing each other about earlier behaviors in a lighthearted manner. Sonnie brings up Mulamwah’s frequent calls.

When Sonnie made the lighthearted accusation that Mulamwah was always contacting her, Mulamwah refuted the accusation and jokingly advised Sonnie to double check with Safaricom, a well-known mobile network operator in Kenya.

Mulamwah refuted Sonnie’s claim by revealing times when Sonnie would contact him in the middle of the night, complaining that she couldn’t sleep without him.

Mulamwah Responds To Sonnie’s Claims That He Worked In A Railway

Funnyman David Oyando, also known as Mulamwah, had a humorous response to his ex-girlfriend Caroline Muthoni’s mockery of their co-parenting and current relationship.
Muthoni, also going by the name Carrol Sonie, recently responded to a video Mulamwah had previously shared by making light of their relationship.

She said on the video, among other things, that Mulamwah was struck by a train as a result of his work at the railway firm, something she had informed their daughter.

“Of course, I am a toxic baby mama, I told my daughter that her dad was hit by a train while working at the railway. Of course, I am a toxic baby mama, I am the one providing baby daddy content, he cannot do without me,” She said in her video.
She added, “Of course, I am a toxic baby mama; even my ex texts me with a pseudo account claiming he misses me, but I block that. Of course, I am a toxic baby mama ‘Keilah is not my kid,’ I will continue tormenting him online.”

Mulamwah Responds

Other than threatening to sue her, Mulamwah has responded to Sonnie’s claims that he used to work in a railway. He did it through a short video via his Instagram.

In the Instagram video, the 31-year-old comedian appeared restless and thoughtful as the train approached while he stood on the tracks.

Jalang’o responds on TikTok to Mulamwah’s baby daddy challenge

Lang’ata Member of Parliament, Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, has responded to a TikTok video challenge initiated by comedian Mulamwah, who shared his struggles as a baby daddy in Kenya. Mulamwah’s ex-lover and baby mama, Carrol Sonie, also responded to the challenge on social media, addressing their co-parenting struggles without explicitly mentioning Mulamwah’s name.

Carrol Sonie admitted to being a “toxic baby mama” and shared her experience of blocking Mulamwah’s attempts to contact her, even through a fake account. In her response, she highlighted the challenges they face in co-parenting.

Mulamwah’s original TikTok video expressed frustration at being blocked and judged harshly by society. In response to the situation, Jalang’o and other netizens shared their thoughts, with some suggesting that the couple should be investigated by the government before having a second child.

Comedian Mulamwah and actress Carrol confirmed their breakup in December 2021, and Mulamwah has since moved on and is expecting a child with his current girlfriend, Ruth K.

Mulamwah sues Carol Sonnie!

Content creator and comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Kendrick Mulamwah, has filed a defamation lawsuit against his baby mama, Sonnie Muthoni.

The two have been making headlines after Mulamwah participated in a viral TikTok challenge, explaining the challenges he faces as an alleged deadbeat dad in Kenya. Sonnie responded, highlighting the societal expectations placed on her, given the label of being a ‘toxic baby mama.’

In 2022, Mulamwah sought legal assistance to establish a co-parenting schedule. He aimed for access to his daughter for at least two consecutive days. Now, he has taken legal action against his baby mama, alleging defamation.

Mulamwah shared new court documents on his social media platforms, stating, “Today, it’s an early kickoff — if you have time, you can read. Don’t be quick to point fingers. Matters are now in court. Diplomacy failed, let’s try it in Newtons. Don’t judge; always pray.”

Mulamwah Set To Sue His Baby Mama Sonnie For Defamation

Kenyan comedian and celebrity David Oyando, better known by his stage name Mulamwah, has announced his intention to sue Caroline Muthoni, better known by her stage name Carrol Sonie, for child abuse and defamation.
Mulamwah posted a note on social media stating that on September 26, 2022, his advocates sent Carrol Sonie a parental responsibility agreement on his behalf.

He sent her another notice on February 1, 2023, since the agreement did not receive a response.
He alleges that Carrol Sonie has refused to give him access to his daughter and has instead persisted in defaming him on her YouTube channel.

Mulamwah is upset, per the notice, over a video that was posted on Carrol’s YouTube account on November 29, 2023, in which she said he was a deadbeat parent.

The notification alleges that the assertion is untrue since Carrol has often returned money that the comedian sent her without giving a valid explanation.

Parenting-wise, Carrol Sonie also renamed the child without her father’s permission.

Carol Sonnie fires back at Mulamwah for hilarious baby daddy challenge

In a YouTube video posted on February 5, Carrol Sonie indirectly but clearly addressed Mulamwah’s controversial “I’m a baby daddy” TikTok challenge, responding to the accusations of being a toxic baby mama.

Acknowledging the label placed on her, Carrol offered her perspective, providing insights into various aspects mentioned by Mulamwah in his video.

She openly admitted to blocking her ex, even if he resorted to using a pseudonymous account. She surprised many when she disclosed what she might have told her daughter about her father’s whereabouts.

“Of course, I’m a toxic baby mama. Even if my ex texts me with a fake account claiming he misses me, I’ll still block him. I’m a toxic baby mama, Keilah is not my ‘kid’; she will continue seeing him online.

Of course, I’m a toxic baby mama, specifically a Kikuyu. I told my daughter that her dad got hit by a train while working on the railway. I’m a toxic baby mama; I’m the one who provides baby daddy content. He can’t do without me,” she expressed.

Mulamwah had previously garnered significant attention on social media with his participation in a viral TikTok challenge. In his video, set in a tree plantation, the comedian expressed frustration about society viewing him as the problem in his role as a baby daddy. He shared the challenges he faced, particularly in connecting with his child, revealing that he only got to see the child online due to being blocked by his baby mama.

Mulamwah gets into trouble after taking the “I’m a Baby Daddy” challenge.

Comedian Mulamwah participated in a TikTok challenge, sparking curiosity among Kenyans about whether he is acknowledging having a child or not.

On Sunday, Feb 4, Mulamwah shared a video highlighting the challenges faced by men with their baby mamas. He explained various scenarios and perceptions about being a baby daddy in Kenya:

“Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. Everybody thinks I am the problem.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. Every baby mama hates me; please, auntie, it’s not me who impregnated you.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. The child has been told, and he thinks I died last year.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. When I’m enjoying life, you say I’m hurting my ex, but I’m just living my life. Should I not move on?

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. I see the child online.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. I’m still getting myself together because I know there will be a day when I’ll be needed.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. I’ve been blocked.

Of course, I am a baby daddy in Kenya. No one will believe me, but it’s okay.”

Kenyans took offense at his video, pointing out that he was purportedly denying having a child. Others pointed out that he might still be hurting over his breakup with Carrol Sonnie, his ex-girlfriend, who has a daughter named Keilah.

Mulamwah Explains Why He Fell In Love With His Bestie ‘Ruth K’

In a recent, intimate Q&A session, Kenyan comedian David Oyando, known as Mulamwah, and his partner Ruth K, offered a glimpse into their lives and love story. The raw conversation delved into personal experiences, growth, and their exciting journey towards parenthood.

Mulamwah painted a heartwarming picture of life with Ruth, his “besties and girlfriend.” With humor and tenderness, he described the joys of their cohabitation, sharing his first experience living with a pregnant woman. He fondly recounted shared moments – from massages and travels to creating content and welcoming their soon-to-arrive baby.

“We’ve bonded so much,” confided Mulamwah. “Before you, I’d only seen pregnant women in pictures. The feeling of being with you, waiting for the baby, traveling together – it’s epic. I’ve never experienced anything like it.”

More than just a social media romance, their relationship resonated with authenticity and mutual support. “It’s not about proving anything to anyone,” Mulamwah emphasized. “It’s about connection, understanding, and growing together.”

Ruth K, responding to Mulamwah’s query about her initial attraction, revealed that she saw beyond the public persona. “I connected with the real you,” she declared. Despite his past struggles, she recognized his genuine nature, a truth hidden beneath the social media storm.

Looking back at his previous relationship, Mulamwah acknowledged the value of personal growth. He saw the painful experience of his breakup as a catalyst for self-discovery and transformation. “Those lows,” he confessed, “helped me understand myself better and paved the way for something truly special.”

Mulamwah and Ruth K’s story transcends celebrity gossip. It’s a testament to finding strength in vulnerability, embracing personal growth, and building genuine connections amidst life’s uncertainties. As they prepare for parenthood, their journey promises to be one of love, laughter, and an enduring bond forged in shared experiences and personal growth.

Cruel final caution Before their breakup, Mulamwah handed his ex

Comedian Mulamwah has consistently expressed his desire for a simple girlfriend who won’t put too much pressure on him.

Now, he is opening up about a breakup that made him realize he was with the wrong person. In a conversation with his bestie, Ruth K, Mulamwah revealed that he warned his ex-girlfriend that he would replace her if she didn’t change her ways, mainly related to the pressure to provide.

Ruth explained why she chose him over others, recalling the challenging time when most people were against Mulamwah.

“The reason I’m asking you this is because that time we met things were bad. 99.9% of everybody was against Mulamwah. You were just like inaitwanga heads over feet? What did you see in me, because I couldn’t understand.” he asked before adding,

“Because nobody is listening to my side, no one wanted to understand me, but you on the other hand, you were like ok let’s do this.”

She tried to avoid answering, but he insisted and she responded that she did not believe the social media rumours and that his personality persuaded her.

“What I can say according to me, shida ni the way people were seeing you is not what I saw in you. It’s not true. The first time we clicked I saw this man ni mtrue you were just that person mwenye aa sijui, the way they painted you was not..”

The comedian then recalled the painful breakup with a former ex and the social media backlash he faced.

He emphasised how cyberbullying motivated him to work hard to be a better man for another woman, swearing never to find himself in such a situation again.

He shared an interesting perspective on breakups, seeing them as opportunities to work on oneself.

“I swore to never find myself in such a position ever again.”

He has an interesting outlook on breakups. “I love breakups. They are good because they give you a chance to work on yourself. For if someone left you because you don’t know how to cook, if you go to another relationship, won’t you learn how to cook so you are not dumped?”

“Taking shots at someone,” he cheekily added, “Nilikuwa namwambia wewe, kubali ama niende!” he laughed about it.

“Nilikuwa namuambia sawa, kataa utaona. Nilikuwa nalaini hiyo time btw. Kataa tuu utaniona na msichana mwingine.”

Mulamwah had already shortlisted other girls to replace his ex. “I can’t lie, they were there, kuna watu walikuwa shortlisted, walifika fainali,” he mocked her.

Mulamwah Reveals Hefty Price He Spent On Horse-Drawn Chariot

Kenyan content creator Mulamwah pulled out all the stops for his partner’s baby shower, leaving everyone stunned with a lavish celebration featuring a horse-drawn carriage entrance worth Sh200,000.

Held over the weekend, the event marked a significant milestone for Ruth K, the mother-to-be, and a stark contrast to the couple’s low-key gender reveal just weeks prior.

Mulamwah spared no expense to make Ruth’s day unforgettable. Channeling Vanessa Mdee and Rotimi’s trendy couple vibes, the pair arrived in matching maroon and white outfits, with Ruth luxuriously escorted to the event in a white horse chariot.

They then proceeded to a beautiful hotel where they were greeted by a sumptuous meal and the warm company of family and friends. In an Instagram story, Ruth playfully expressed her affection, saying, “Pole pole ♥️♥️, loving the steps. First horse ride .”

This extravagant celebration comes on the heels of the couple’s struggles to settle on a name for their soon-to-arrive baby boy. While Mulamwah prefers a natural birth, Ruth’s options haven’t yet been revealed.

An official Instagram photo captured the joyous occasion, showcasing Ruth cradling her baby bump with the caption, “BABY SHOWER for the boy ♥️.” Ruth’s brother, Kendrick, also shared his excitement on social media, clearly thrilled about the impending arrival.

Mulamwah’s grand gesture has sparked conversations online, with some raising eyebrows at the hefty bill for the horse-drawn carriage. However, the overwhelming sentiment celebrates the couple’s love and excitement for their new chapter as parents.

Mulamwah reveals he first laid eyes on Ruth K at a hardware store

Comedian Mulamwah, known for his humor, has shared an unexpected twist to his love story with his girlfriend Ruth K, alias Bestie.

The revelation came in a candid video on Ruth K’s YouTube channel, where they detailed their amusing encounter at a hardware store in Eldoret.

The couple, now expecting their first child, playfully discussed their initial meeting.

“Yes, you have been asking for the longest time, how we met? It’s funny,” Ruth shared.

According to Mulamwah, Ruth K had been pursuing him privately.

“She is the one who met me by the way.”

However, she promptly denied this, urging him to share the true version of their meeting.

“Mimi? Hakuna, msidanganywe, tell them the truth of how we met,” she told Mulamwa who insisted that she had his pictures on her phone before they met.

“Why did you then have my photos on your gallery by the time we met? You were stalking me.”

She defended herself, saying she had been admiring his outfits.

“Heh, is it bad to stalk someone? Si unastalk tuu msee, kama napenda outfit yako, ilikuwa unatafutia mtu wangu au bro wangu, si naangalia tuu.”

Ruth and Mulamwah bantered about the circumstances, with her teasing him about his marital status at the time.

They revealed that they met in Eldoret, where she worked at a hardware store.

Mulamwah explained, “We met in a weird place; you can’t believe you would meet someone there, mrembo anafanya kazi uko. I was buying some metals, you know I’m an artist, so we were buying metals rods for a tent, so I was forced to enter a hardware.”

He continued, “So, I entered and met a woman on the counter. We talked a bit, ndio kamtu alitoka, ni kama alikuwa anapanga misumari kwa kilo. (That is when she emerged from the back where I think she was arranging nails).”

Mulamwah added that he noticed her beautiful looks, saying, “When she stood up, I was like ei what’s going one?”

He confirmed that it was Ruth who asked for his contacts.

“She texted me and sent me her IG handle. She had kienyeji pictures,” he shared.

Initially, Mulamwah had conveyed to his fans that he was not romantically involved with Ruth K, a stance that shifted only when he visited her family for a traditional wedding.

“Unastalk mtu alioleka?” Mulamwah’s bizarre account of how he and Ruth K got together

After a successful baby shower on Saturday, January 20, comedian Mulamwah and Ruth K are now sharing the story of how they met.

The couple, in a YouTube video, revealed that they have been under pressure to talk about it.

“Yes, you have been asking for the longest time, tulimeet aje? It’s funny,” Ruth says. Mulamwah jokes that she was pursuing him, stating, “Yeye ndiye alinimeet, by the way.”

However, she denies this, urging him to tell the truth about how they met. “Mimi? Hakuna, msidanganywe, tell them the truth of how we met,” she cajoles him.

He insists she had his pictures on her phone by the time they were meeting, revealing, “She met me, mbona by the time we met, mapicha zilikuwa zimejaa kwa simu yako? You were stalking me.”

She responds, “Heh, is it bad to stalk someone? Si unastalk tuu msee, kama napenda outfit yako, ilikuwa unatafutia mtu wangu au bro wangu, si naangalia tuu, eh huyu ndiye, in short, nilkuwa naangalia outfit,” she claims.

Ruth and Mulamwah chat, and he adds, “Unastalk mtu alioleka.”

She teases him, saying, “Ulikuwa umeoleka? Basi ulikuwa pabaya,” giggling about it. They met in Eldoret, where she worked in a hardware store. Ruth requests Mulamwah not to disclose the year they met.

Mulamwah laughs, “We met in a weird place; you can’t believe you would meet someone there, mrembo anafanya kazi uko,” but she demands to know why he finds it amusing.

He assures her and reveals her job, saying, “Si ni kazi yako? I was buying some metals, you know I’m an artist, so we were buying metals for a tent, so I was forced to enter a hardware.”

He continues, “So I entered and met a woman on the counter. We talked a bit, ndio kamtu alitoka, ni kama alikuwa anapanga misumari kwa kilo.”

Ruth confirms the details but expresses embarrassment. Mulamwah noticed her beautiful looks, saying, “When she stood up, I was like ei kunaenda aje?”

She begged for his number. “Aliniangukia. She texted me and sent me her IG handle. She had kienyeji pictures,” he said about her clothes and style.

They planned a date. Ruth ended the video by saying his account of how they met was wrong.

Ruth K & Mulamwah Debate On Their Upcoming Kid’s Name

Kenyan comedian Mulamwah and his fiancée Ruth K are sharing their lighthearted struggles in choosing a name for their upcoming baby boy. After celebrating a blue-smoke gender reveal in December, the couple is now navigating the tricky terrain of agreeing on a moniker for their little one.

First-Letter Feud

On Ruth K’s YouTube channel, the discussion takes a playful turn when she suggests names starting with the letter “D,” referencing Mulamwah’s initials. This sends Mulamwah into a good-natured fit of giggles, questioning the suitability of “tired names” like Darrel for a child who will carry it for life.

Ruth attempts to defend Darrel as an Arabic name, adding a touch of cultural nuance to the debate. Meanwhile, Mulamwah expresses concerns about name changes, referencing his ex-girlfriend’s decision to alter their daughter’s name after their separation. He emphasizes the importance of stability and consistency in choosing a name.

While Ruth encourages flexibility, stating that the child itself remains constant, Mulamwah stands firm on his preference for a definitive choice. The playful banter highlights the challenges and joys of expectant parents navigating this important decision.

Mulamwah shares the names he’s chosen for his son with Ruth K

Mulamwah and Ruth K are suggesting names for their unborn child.

In a lab, the couple revealed the gender of their child in December of last year by displaying blue smoke, which denotes a male.

The two remind each other that they still haven’t come up with a name that works for them on Ruth K’s YouTube channel.

Mulmwah bursts with chuckles as Ruth K says she wants a name that begins with D.

“So you know it’s a boy, I would like the name to start with his father’s initials. I was thinking like Darrel. Aki why are you laughing?”

To which Mulamwah responded:

“It sounds like a tired name. Remember that child will have that name for a lifetime. Does it make sense at all, apana. What does it mean?”

Ruth argues that its name is Arabic.Ruth questions him about his preferences during that conversation, and he cautions her against renaming their son.

“Na hii mchezo yenyu hii, mtu anapea mtoto jina, baadaye huku unakuja kubadilisha badilisha, mi staki hio mchezo.”

He looks at Ruth, who is upset by the situation.

“Unapee mtoto majina baadaye unaskai tena ni Clinton, sijui nani, sijui nani. hmmm” he continues.Ruth responded “Bora mtoto habadiliki, jina ni jina.”

His ex-girlfriend and baby mother Carrol Sonnie announced in December 2023 that she had changed their daughter Kayla’s name by removing his last name.Sonnie referred to her as Kayla Khloe Wangui, although her real name was Kayla Oyando.

Holiday Joy Dashed: Kenyan Celebs Dodge Disaster in Festive Road Mishaps

The joyful buzz of Christmas in Kenya was pierced by screeching tires and shattered glass as several celebrities narrowly escaped serious injury in holiday road accidents.

  • Bien’s Porsche Cayenne became a mangled wreck in December’s final hours, leaving the musician shaken but grateful for life. A chilling image on his social media showed the once-sleek car crumpled in a junkyard, eerily accompanied by R. Kelly’s “You Saved Me.” Questions remain unanswered about the incident’s details, shrouding the experience in a fog of mystery.

  • Comedian Mulamwah’s laughter turned to screams as his car pirouetted multiple times near Nakuru. Avoiding a sudden stop by another vehicle, his ride rolled like a dice thrown by fate. Miraculously, he and his friend walked away with nothing worse than scratches, praising a “God of many chances” and the helpful local community.

  • Christmas Day celebrations for The Bahatis took a sharp turn when their Mercedes met an unknown assailant on the road. Shards of glass and dents became unwanted gifts, forcing the family to reroute their journey with shaken nerves. Diana, the family matriarch, grappled with a cocktail of emotions, her voice carrying the echo of an interrupted holiday cheer.

  • YouTube star Eve Mungai and her boyfriend, Director Trevor, felt the jolt of a Christmas night detour as their car swerved off the road and into a ditch. Videos captured the jarring moment, leaving a trace of emotional wreckage as deep as the tire tracks in the dirt. “There are some apologies an explanation just can’t fix,” Eve cryptically posted, hinting at the lasting impact of the incident.

While none of these stars suffered major physical harm, their brushes with holiday carnage served as a stark reminder of life’s unpredictability. These festive fender benders cast a bittersweet shadow over the joyous season, leaving a poignant message: cherish every moment, for the road ahead holds both glitter and gravel.

Mulamwah’s Glow-Up Credited To Girlfriend Ruth K.

Kenyan comedian Mulamwah is radiating happiness and experiencing a remarkable transformation, and according to fellow content creators Eddie Butita and YY Comedian, the secret lies in his girlfriend, Ruth K.

In a recent video shared by Mulamwah, the two comedians are seen jokingly showering heavily pregnant Ruth K with praise, attributing Mulamwah’s newfound joy to her presence.

“Ulipea boy wetu nini, ulimpea boy wetu nini?” (Look at our boy, look at our boy!) the comedians exclaimed in unison.

“Siku izi anaglow?” (Is he glowing up these days?) Ruth inquired, seemingly amused by the admiration.

“Bana he is happy, ulimpea nini,” (Well, he’s happy, what do you think?) they responded in a chorus.

However, after Ruth left the scene, Butita and YY shed their comedic personas and revealed that their entire exchange was a lighthearted scheme to make Mulamwah look good.

They playfully confessed their intention to employ the same tactic on Butita’s girlfriend, if given the opportunity to speak to her.

Mulamwah’s newfound happiness and evident transformation have undoubtedly been noticed by his peers and fans, and their playful banter with Ruth K highlights the camaraderie among Kenyan content creators.

“The day I decide to introduce my mpoa, hmm, my friend wacha hio ruracio mnaongea, mine will stop the world.”

A fan asked; “What is your relationship with your baby daddy. Does he support ama yeye ni deadbeat father?”

She responded saying, “Raising a kid alone? It’s not easy, na hii economy ya Zakayo?”

How are you finding co-parenting?

“Co-parenting with who?”

She was also questioned about the best and worst times she has had as a mother of her kid.

She talked candidly about changing from her prior spendthrift ways to learning how to save money for the future.

Mulamwah Once Again Responds To Baby Mama’s Claims Of Being A Deadbeat Dad

Kenyan comedian Mulamwah has responded to claims by his baby mama, Carrol Muthoni, that he is a deadbeat dad to their daughter Keilah.

In a post on Instagram, Mulamwah said that he tries to support Keilah but it is difficult because his efforts are never appreciated. He revealed that Carrol has been sending back any money he sends and even returned a gift he sent for Keilah’s birthday.

“I try to support but it is hard. You send money and it is reversed. Even on her birthday, I sent a gift and it was returned. So it becomes very tricky. I don’t know what the problem is,” he wrote.
