Rushed to tie the knot
Robert Burale has opened up about some of the things that contributed to his marriage to crumble. The pastor says that he rushed to marry his wife without dating for a long time.
“We courted for five months and then got married in the same year. Everybody said we were rushing it but we were in love, in hindsight, we should have listened. We dated, courted, paid dowry and got married all within five months. Her parents were okay,” Robert Burale said during an interview with SDE.

Robert Burale reveals three major things he didn’t do that ruined his marriage. The 41-year-old pastor says he didn’t communicate better, he didn’t listen to his wife and also didn’t spend more time with her.
“I wish I had communicated better with her, listened to her. I also wish I spent more time with her. It’s not that I was travelling or working a lot but sometimes you can be in the same room as someone else but you are not really spending time together.
“There was also outside influence from friends. Nobody gets into marriage wanting it to fail. Mine failed after one year, two days! It was painful and depressing. I tried to hide it for a while. For four months, I was still putting on my ring.
“It was hard to pretend because I was a preacher. There was no infidelity in our marriage, but we should have cultivated our friendship more because this is what holds a marriage together. We should have been friends first.”

Burale opens up about his celibacy
Burale confessed he’s in a dry spell while speaking on the Let’s Talk Show. The image consultant reveals he has not had sex or intimate contact with a woman since August 18th 2013.
“I am saying this live on TV because no woman can come and say she had sex with me, I haven’t had any bodily contact with a woman since August 18th 2013. Mine is like a presidential term,” says Burale.
Burale married in 2012 but his marriage crumbled after only one year and two days. The pastor explains that he has managed to lead a celibate lifestyle because he keeps himself away from temptations.
“The Bible says only a fool sits on fire and doesn’t expect his bosom to go on fire. What I do is that I don’t put myself in situations where I will get tempted,” explains Burale.

Burale also reveals some of the strategies he uses to overcome his sexual urges. He says he sometimes engages his boring watchman in a conversation just to clear his mind of sexual thoughts.
“There is a time things got so bad, I went and sat with my watchman, he is a very boring man and he got my mind off sex.”

Lillian says she doesn’t have thick skin, internet trolls get on her nerves when they attack her. Lillian has been a victim of cyber bullying multiple times.
“I have learnt not to take things to heart. Not to look at the world as a negative place. When people attack you, most of the time they are probably going through their own struggles and that’s why they choose to attack you. I don’t have a thick skin. Just like any other person, my heart bleeds as well. I have very low moments but I have learnt to keep myself busy and try to focus on positive things in life,” said Lillian Muli.

Lillian explains that she worked hard for everything that belongs to her and her son. The Citizen TV anchors rubbished claims that her expensive lifestyle is being financed by sponsors.
“The most painful and humiliating thing I have ever heard or seen on social media is that Lillian lives a certain lifestyle because it has been given to her by a certain class of people. We work hard and have side hustles. I have worked hard for everything that belongs to me and my son. So when people spin this narrative, it does get to you, but again at the end of the day, I know who I am.”
Betrayal
Lillian says that her biggest regret is confiding in her friends who later betrayed her. She explains that her mistake was trusting too many people without being able to tel a real friend from a fake one.
“I have made countless mistakes, but now Im very careful so that I don’t repeat them. Trusting too much, surrounded by the wrong people, not able to tell real friends from fake ones. Sharing personal information with friends who later talk behind your back and criticize you.”

But over the past few months there were several claims on social media that Burale had finally decided to remarry, apparently he was to exchange vows with a woman named Praxedes.
Burale however rubbished the rumors on social media explaining that it was work of con artists who were using his name to swindle money from unsuspecting Kenyans.
“ATTENTION ….I never answer to some issues but sometimes one has to stand and stop some nonsense . For the last 3 months some fake social media accounts(opened for a day and deleted) have been sending messages to people known to me stating that I am planning a wedding with someone called Praxedes and names keep changing (the only praxedes I know is my auntie?)….some even asking for funds to help my wedding ….I wish to state that I married in 2012 and marriage ended … so whoever is purporting to raise funds for a wedding to some praxedes or whoever should be ignored. Unless I am getting married in my sleep….SOMEBODY GIVE ME SOME TEA MASALA ,TWO SUGARS

Renowned pastor Robert Burale recently suffered a head injury that saw him get admitted at the Nairobi Hospital.
The pastor who is also a popular public figure revealed this through his social media pages where he wrote saying;
‘’I walked out stronger. Who said God is not my healer?..THE BLOOD SPEAKETH…’’
He however chose not to say what happened to him but judging from the photo he shared, we can tell that he had a minor procedure done to treat the injury.
His fans and church members were also quick to leave get well messages while others were too eager to know what had happened to him, but as expected he did not respond.
However, before posting the photo to show the injury…Pastor Burale posted a message that hinted that he had been involved in a serious situation but thankfully God had helped him overcome the trial.
He wrote saying,
‘’When the devil thought he had me down……God got my back and I walked out of STRONGER.’’
