Thee Pluto Warns Young Men About the “3 Ls” That Can Ruin Their Lives

Kenyan content creator and businessman Thee Pluto has issued a powerful caution to young men, sharing what he calls the “3 Ls” — three traps he believes can bring down even the brightest and most ambitious.

Posting the message on Instagram, Thee Pluto said:

“As a young man in Kenya, there are 3 L’s that can destroy a man, even the smartest one. One is liquor, the second one is ladies, and the third one is leverage.”

He went on to break down how each of these pitfalls often leads to financial loss, stalled progress, and personal disaster.

1. Liquor: How Alcohol Steals Opportunity

Thee Pluto’s first warning is about liquor. He stressed that excessive drinking — especially to the point of intoxication — makes opportunities slip through a man’s fingers, regardless of how intelligent he may be.

He noted that beyond missed chances, alcohol drains money and creates long-term health complications.

“When you take a lot of liquor and you get too intoxicated, opportunities usually slip away from you. Too much liquor brings health problems, wastage of money, and many other things.”

2. Ladies: When Relationships Become High-Maintenance

The second trap, he explained, is ladies — not genuine relationships, but costly, high-maintenance entanglements.

According to Thee Pluto, many young men fall into financial ruin trying to fund lavish lifestyles for multiple partners, all in an attempt to impress or maintain an image.

“Romance becomes expensive when you start sponsoring the lifestyle of multiple partners. As a young person, that’s how you lose money — trying to prove a point by living a fake lifestyle.”

3. Leverage: The Silent Killer of Dreams

The final and most dangerous “L,” Thee Pluto said, is leverage. This refers to taking on massive loans or debt without a realistic repayment plan.

Over-leveraging, he warned, is what destroys most people’s financial stability.

When the repayment burden becomes impossible to manage, the consequences are brutal and unforgiving.

“This is what crashes many people. Because what happens is that the bank takes everything back.”
