Vera firmly denied being the baby mama in question in Mauzo’s recent cryptic social media post and took the opportunity to dismiss claims of financial dependence.
This comes just days after Brown Mauzo took to his social media to issue a stern warning about co-parenting boundaries. In a post on Thursday, August 14, he criticized late-night, non-emergency phone calls “fueled by alcohol and drama,” emphasizing that his home should be respected as a place of peace. The post, while not naming a specific person, was widely interpreted by the public as being directed at Vera Sidika.
In a video shared on her Instagram on Sunday, August 17, Vera directly addressed the speculation. She strongly refuted the allegation that she was the one making the late-night calls, stating that she is a “sober girl” who does not drink alcohol or engage in reckless behavior. She expressed frustration at being dragged into a controversy she claims has nothing to do with her.
“You would never see me drunk because I know what I am doing, I am mature, am smart, and I am not that girl.I do not drink alcohol, I do not go crazy, na munikome, am pissed. Why would you think he would be talking about me? He has other kids why would you think stories he put about baby mama is about me?”
Furthermore, Vera used the opportunity to address persistent rumors about her financial status. She insisted that she has never needed anything from Brown Mauzo and is fully capable of providing for her children on her own. She called on Mauzo to be more direct in his public statements, arguing that his cryptic posts only serve to cause her name to trend in controversies that she believes have nothing to do with her.
