What did the musician not do for you the fan? <em>Ama ni Kiburi tu tuko nayo ya kutoskiza mziki?<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>Music release spree&#8230;.pressure?<\/h4>\n<p>After the blame game went down Kenyan artists went back to the drawing board.How? They have been releasing hit after hit.<\/p>\n<p>Something Kenyans should appreciate.With success stories from upcoming artists\u00a0 like Ethic, Ochungulo Family,Rico gang just to name a few that can now dine with the\u00a0 music legends.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_100587\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-100587\" style=\"width: 836px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/05\/Screenshot_20190326-210843.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-100587\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/05\/Screenshot_20190326-210843-300x222.png\" alt=\"Ethic\" width=\"836\" height=\"619\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/05\/Screenshot_20190326-210843-300x222.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/05\/Screenshot_20190326-210843.png 694w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 836px) 100vw, 836px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-100587\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ethic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Another problem comes in, what happened to letting a song marinate for a few months before releasing another?<\/p>\n<p>Honestly these artist too do feel wasted or rather discouraged with low response to the music they release.<\/p>\n<p>Even the gospel music artist are also in these camp. They do amazing songs but the numbers are the biggest set back.<\/p>\n<p>One Guardian Angel\u00a0 of <em>Nadeka<\/em> hit almost gave up on music, because his efforts were not paying off.<\/p>\n<h4>Receivership<\/h4>\n<p>But again come to think of it, Kenyan artists are doing well in terms of studio time and production. <em>Kizingumkuti<\/em> comes in at how the songs are received.<\/p>\n<p>A good example is Kaka Empire&#8217;s CEO King Kaka,first we should appreciate the effort he has\u00a0 put in music for the longest time.But this year seems to be more of a step back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/thekingkaka_60887886_143203223490210_2345009984808106952_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-102759\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/thekingkaka_60887886_143203223490210_2345009984808106952_n-281x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"884\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/thekingkaka_60887886_143203223490210_2345009984808106952_n-281x300.jpg 281w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/thekingkaka_60887886_143203223490210_2345009984808106952_n-768x821.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/06\/thekingkaka_60887886_143203223490210_2345009984808106952_n-958x1024.jpg 958w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 828px) 100vw, 828px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the past 3months or so he has had big hits that have sadly hit the wall. True?<\/p>\n<p>Proof, his song <em>Njia<\/em> that he featured Bridget Blue stands at 218k views on Youtube, another is <em>Poison<\/em> that stands at 108k views and his latest <em>Far Away<\/em> that he featured American Musician Cassidy Stands at 118k views.<\/p>\n<p>He among others have suffered the cruelty of Kenyans ignoring the Kenyan Music.Or as it said\u00a0 A prophet is never welcomed in his own land. These prophets are clearly being overlooked.Sad huh!!<\/p>\n<p>Considering the fact that most songs by Wasafi Records from Tanzania are fast and highly received in Kenya.
