Mike Sonko and his deputy Polycarp Igathe took oath of office on Monday August 21st<\/sup> at Uhuru Park in a ceremony that was attended by president Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto.<\/p>\n

Outgoing Governor Evans Kidero, who was also in attendance, congratulated Sonko for his election victory and wished him great success in governing the city.<\/p>\n

With president uhuru and his deputy at Uhuru Park, security was tight as usual. The VIP section was under the watchful eyes of the president\u2019s security detail, no commoner was allowed near.<\/p>\n

But guess who made it to the VIP section? Githeri man himself (Martin Kamotho) was on the VIP section dressed in the same clothes he was seen in his viral photo.<\/p>\n

Githeri was tasked with welcoming important guests at the VIP section, he stood at the entrance to greet and usher in guests who attended Sonko\u2019s inauguration.<\/p>\n
