Godfather of comedy, Daniel Ndambuki has launched his own recognition awards for outdoor comedians.<\/p>\n

Friday, the 26th of July, the Churchill Show pioneer launched the \u00b4Taji Recognition Awards\u00b4 for fete comedians who\u00b4s wit is undebatable.<\/p>\n

This was during the 3rd edition of International Africa Laugh Festival at KICC grounds.<\/p>\n

Top Kenyan comedian, Njugush is among the first beneficiaries alongside NTV\u00b4s Managing Editor, Emmanuel Juma.<\/p>\n

To his surprise, Njugush was first ushered on stage before receiving the \u00a8Taji Humour Recognition Award: Online Creator\u00a8 for his feat on the digital space.<\/p>\n

An emotional Njugush could only air:<\/p>\n

Juma received the award in absencia, courtesy of NTV\u00b4s Production and Programming Operations Manager, Justus Tharao.<\/p>\n

In reference to the launch of the annual Awards, Churchill shared:<\/p>\n

We introducing something, an award we call Taji to recognize individuals who have done so much in this (comedy) industry.<\/p>\n
