Celebrated Gospel DJ Soxxy and his wife have had one of the roughest times in marriage especially after infertility got in their way of trust.<\/p>\n

The couple has opened up on the struggles of being young and dating, a time when his wife\u00b4s hormonal imbalance almost cost them their relationship.<\/p>\n

Ann Kamau, DJ Soxxy\u00b4s wife, recalls how her periods were ever regular until one day, they suddenly stopped.<\/p>\n

Disorder<\/h2>\n

Ann sought medical advice where she underwent a scan that indicated she had Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).<\/p>\n

A hormonal disorder common among women of the reproductive age.<\/p>\n

Just 27, Anne woke up to the bare truth that she might not end up siring any children, if she delays any longer – something pretty disheartening.<\/p>\n

The doctor told me if I don\u2019t have children then, I will not be able to carry a pregnancy in the future.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tension<\/h2>\n

So what she did, was share the news with her then boyfriend, DJ Soxxy who constantly felt the pressure to get her pregnant while he was not even ready to marry her.<\/p>\n

This caused tension in their relationship to a point that they split before the two reunited.<\/p>\n

I went and told DJ Soxxy that the doctor has said we need to have a child now and he was like this is too much pressure on me I am not even ready to marry you yet. The pressure I was putting on him made us break up.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

DJ Soxxy still believed that all was well despite his wife\u00b4s rush and he went ahead and made her his wife back in 2011.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this is when hell broke lose. Ann recounts:<\/p>\n

The first three years of our marriage were the worst. Soxxy kept telling me that he felt like a sperm donor because I was only waiting to be with him on my fertile days. I noticed the emotional struggle when we got married. I was thinking about everyone’s expectation after a wedding (having children) so I kept putting pressure on Soxxy to have children.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Good thing, Ann had a gem though one she never took note of but whose resilience kept their marriage going.<\/p>\n

I loved her beyond the children she could give me – DJ Soxxy.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The determination to conceive saw Ann go an extra mile just to see her wishes fulfilled.<\/p>\n

I even used to buy pregnancy test kits from UK and Australia because I thought the ones I was buying from Kenya were fake.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ann sought fertility therapy for months until 2013, when things changed.<\/p>\n

New Dawn<\/h2>\n

God had his plans laid down for her and her moment to smile just came at the nick of time.<\/p>\n

So first, she approaches her hubby:<\/p>\n

There\u2019s one time I took a test, showed it to Soxxy and he asked me, \u201cFrom whom have you borrowed this test?\u00a8<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Just to be sure:<\/p>\n

We went to the doctor, I did a scan and the doctor confirmed that I was five weeks pregnant. I carried the pregnancy with a lot of joy. Every pain that comes with pregnancy, from throwing up to back pains just brought joy to my life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
