The group, which comprises of; Michael Mugo, Brian Joseph, Daniel Mbithi, Wambui Ng’ang’a, Arlon Mwangi, Joel Djowa, Dominic Juma and Marlon Aduvaga is behind big hits like Mumbi<\/em>, Madame Wa Kenya<\/em> and Like Heaven<\/em>.<\/p>\n Their music style is mostly Afro fusion, pop and reggae and that is why I was surprised when Michael Mugo, the lead vocalist, released a song titled Bangi <\/em>about a fortnight ago.<\/p>\n I’m not saying the song is bad. I was more of a pleasant surprise. I’ve listened to Bangi a couple of times since it came out and every time I play it, it’s like I am listening to it for the very first time. Yup, it’s that good. Trust me.<\/p>\n Bangi<\/em> is a comical and creative tune. If you are a stoner maybe, just maybe you’ll resonate with it and you might have it playing in the background the next time you light a joint.<\/p>\n Michael Mugo has a unique ability to play around with words and make dope rhymes. He had me scratching my head the whole time as I tried to make sense of it all.<\/p>\n The hook is also very catchy and easy to master. Believe you me, you’ll find yourself singing along after listening to it twice or maybe thrice.<\/p>\n The beat on this song slaps really heard and blends well with his vocals.
