Tanzanian songstress Ruby, who burst into the limelight after releasing Na Yule<\/em> circa 2015, has dropped a new track and it’s getting a lot of love from her fans.<\/p>\n

The song titled Naolewa<\/em>, which is Swahili for I am getting married, tells the story of an unsatisfied girl who had been dismissed by many people claimed was not ready to settle down.<\/p>\n

However, in a sudden turn of events, she has found a worthy suitor and she’s ready to walk down the aisle. Therefore she wants those who had brushed her off to know that she is finally getting married.<\/p>\n

She says that her wedding is going to be a colorful affair and she wants everyone to attend it, including the paparazzi, those who were jealous of her and her exes.<\/p>\n

The first time I heard this song, I didn’t really feel it, but with time I came to love it so much so that I have listened to it twenty times, perhaps even more since it came out a few days ago.<\/p>\n

Ruby has a melodious voice – the kind that most of us would not mind listening to the whole day. As you listen to her, you get to connect with her on a more personal level because of the sincerity in her voice.<\/p>\n

the beat and instrumentation are impeccable. I, However, feel that some people might not really like the mellowness and subtlety seeing as it’s a wedding song but I feel it works.<\/p>\n
