Ailing Ohangla singer, Lady Maureen\u00b4s mother, Margaret Akinyi has expressed disappointment in her daughter\u00b4s friends who deserted, soon as she fell ill.<\/p>\n

The mother spoke with utter frustrations, questioning the kind of friends Lady Maureen splashed money on, only to take off when things got worse.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Mpasho, the mother expressed:<\/p>\n

For the past year, I\u00b4ve not seen any friend mwenye alikuwa anakula nao Blueband huko Nairobi. Wanasemanga kibaya ndio inabakia mzazi. Na mimi ndiye nimebakia naye.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the past year, I\u00b4ve not seen any of her friends – Lady Maureen\u00b4s mother<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Revealing that she has been the one by Maureen\u00b4s side all along, even spending nights at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Treatment<\/h2>\n

Fortunately enough, the singer\u00b4s body has been responding well to treatment, as they await her blood sample test results.<\/p>\n

The singer\u00b4s mother thanked all who came out to assist at their times of need.<\/p>\n

Her health has improved compared to five days ago. She was weak, couldn\u00b4t walk or eat, but now she can. Blood samples were taken on Monday and X-rays done though the results are not out yet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Akinyi\u00b4s Advice<\/h2>\n

Lady Maureen\u00b4s mother urged and insisted that despite one accumulating wealth and living well, those at home – family and especially parents – should always be thought of.<\/p>\n

Remember where you came from and your parents as well. If God blesses you, don\u00b4t squander your money with strangers or rather people who don\u00b4t advise you to invest. Because when you go broke, they all run away and it is us, parents, who suffer especially if you get sick just like my daughter\u00b4s case.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
