Award-winning Tanzanian singer Belle 9, who’s behind Sumu Ya Penzi<\/em>, Masogange<\/em> and Amerudi<\/em> has released a new jam and it’s getting a lot of love from his fans.<\/p>\n

The track titled Umefanana Nae, which loosely translates to you look like her, is about this lass who looks exactly like another lady that the singer was in a relationship with.<\/p>\n

In the song, Belle 9 says that almost everything about his new catch looks like his ex. From the face, how she walks to the dimples.<\/p>\n

However, it seems he didn’t part ways with her on good terms. Therefore he doesn’t want anything that reminds him about her and that simply means that they can’t be together since she put him through a lot.<\/p>\n

I absolutely love this jam. I’ve always been a fan of Belle 9 not for any other reason but because he makes good music – the kind that you just want to listen to over and over without getting bored of it.<\/p>\n

This chap has an amazing voice and to add to that, as he sings you can tell that there is a lot of sincerity in the way he expresses himself and you might just believe that he is narrating something that really happened to him.<\/p>\n

The instrumentation on this jam is perfect, especially the guitar sound. It’s so infectious and it will make you listen to this jam a couple of times in an hour.<\/p>\n

The video for Umefanana Nae is really dope. Although the concept is simple, it aligns well with the theme of the song and to add to that the scene transitioning and styling are impeccable. Kudos to the videographer.<\/p>\n
