It only made sense to her that Parents magazine should be all about parents.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>About 4years ago I met Eunice Mathu (Dir. Parent&#8217;s Magazine), in Wamba, Samburu. I&#8217;d gone there with AMREF Health Intl. for the Alternative Rites of Passage for girls. Anyway, she asked me to grace the cover of her magazine and I quickly declined, exclaiming, &#8220;But I have no children&#8221;!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"attachment_126853\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-126853\" style=\"width: 674px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/03\/Screenshot-2020-03-04-at-11.23.46.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-126853\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/03\/Screenshot-2020-03-04-at-11.23.46-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"674\" height=\"843\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/03\/Screenshot-2020-03-04-at-11.23.46-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/03\/Screenshot-2020-03-04-at-11.23.46.jpg 477w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 674px) 100vw, 674px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-126853\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">I refused to feature in Parents magazine 4 years ago because I had no children &#8211; Kambua opens up<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Despite the efforts by the magazine\u00b4s Director, there was no way the gospel singer was going to be enticed into signing up for the deal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>She insisted that even though I didn&#8217;t, I still had a voice to speak into that space. Well, I didn&#8217;t. I wasn&#8217;t ready.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But who is God? 4 years later, the Kenyan beauty can proudly boast as the cover girl of Parents magazine, March issue.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Looking at this cover my eyes well up because God was and is still writing my story.
