Talented Kenyan singer Morris Githinji, better known as Ala C and famed for mega hits like; Barua<\/em>, Walking Class<\/em> and Wapi Nimwone<\/em> is back on the local music scene with a bang.<\/p>\n

The song titled Nowe, <\/em>which is a Gikuyu word that means ‘only you’, <\/em>has been ruling the airwaves since it came out a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.<\/p>\n

As you can tell from the title, maybe you can’t but this is a love song. The singer is trying to reassure his love interest that she is the only one in his life and that he is ready to do anything and everything to keep her.<\/p>\n

I’ve always been a fan of Ala C, from his Calif Records days and the one thing that has always struck me about him is his amazing vocals. This guy can really sing and you almost feel like he is live on stage.<\/p>\n

He put his melodic voice to good use in this jam as he expresses his affection for this lady that is giving him sleepless nights. If you are the lovey dovey kind, I’m sure you will have this song on repeat for a very long time.<\/p>\n

Nowe<\/em> is also well-arranged. Despite the fact that most of the lyrics are in Ala C’s native Gikuyu language, you still get to enjoy the song because it’s such a beautiful composition. I absolutely love the hook on this jam,<\/p>\n

The beat and instrumentation is impeccable. Other than the fact that they make the song catchy, they also blend well with Ala C’s vocals and vibe.<\/p>\n

Although the video concept is simple – seeing as it was only shot in one location – the execution is brilliant. I also love the styling, coloration and flawless scene transitioning.<\/p>\n
