Ruth Matete is a strong woman and I say this because she has managed to handle both her young pregnancy; and the death of her husband, the late Beloved John Apewajoye.<\/p>\n

For the past few months Ruth and her family had been trying to access her late husband\u2019s body whixh had been held back for investigations by the government.<\/p>\n

After weeks of waiting, the singer was granted permission to bury her husband but again; she needed to clear the pending hospital bills before releasing the body.<\/p>\n

Well, the late Beloved John Apewajoye was finally laid to rest at the Lang’ata Cemetery since they could fly the body to Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Pregnant Ruth breaks down<\/h3>\n

Having lost the love of her life, we honestly cannot imagine the amount of pain singer Ruth Matete must be going through.<\/p>\n

Looking at the photos shared by popular news outlet, Ruth’s face not only paints the pain she is undergoing; but also proves that women are indeed strong!<\/p>\n

With just a few months before the arrival of their first child; Matete has managed to keep herself sane but looking at the brighter side – at least she now knows where her husband’s body is resting.<\/p>\n

Gas explosion<\/h3>\n

The late Beloved John Apewajoye passed on following a fire incident at their house in Gateway Estate, Athi River on March 30. He however succumbed to the serious burn injuries sustained from the unfortunate gas explosion on April 11th!<\/p>\n

With another family back in Nigeria, Ruth had to wait before getting the go ahead to bury her husband. Below are just a few photos from the funeral courtesy of Mpasho.<\/p>\n
