Renowned Kenyan gospel musician Eko Dydda is the latest artist to defend the rights of local Dj’s to play local music. Dydda has recognized one the local DJ’s complaints; DJ Carlos, who has posted on social media about local restrictions, which hold them back. In addition, the DJ claims that South African DJ’s can be given shows in Kenya but Kenyan DJ’s can’t be given a show in South Africa.<\/p>\n

He wrote,<\/p>\n

”I’ve been living in SA for 17 years Now, hakuna DJ unaweza convince wa SA acheze ngoma ya Kenya.. Ask yourself mbona DJs wa SA wanapewa show Kenya na Kenyan DJs hawaendi SA?<\/p>\n

Backing him up, Eko Dydda responded,<\/p>\n
