Governor Mike Sonko back in the day had nothing and I mean nothing. He was just another struggling man in Kenya trying to make ends meet for his family. But just like most celebrities we have heard of, he made sure to work hard and this is how he became the man he is today.<\/p>\n

Just recently through his Facebook page the Nairobi Governor shared an old photo showing his followers where he started from. The photo which was taken in Mombasa shows a skinny Mike Sonko with over sized clothes and big shoes as a testimony that life can change when you put enough efforts in what you do.<\/p>\n

According to him, he always made sure to move from one area to another looking for a job and almost 20 years later he is now living the life he had always dreamt of. He can now give his young family some of the things he did not get when he was young and for some reason he has not given up on helping fellow Kenyans since he says he also got help to get where he is today.<\/p>\n
