However, it was not just him but everybody else trying to adjust to the changes that also included joblessness and a pretty shaken economy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Well, we would have expected things to be a little different considering he is a celebrity who had bagged well paying deals right before the pandemic; so yea &#8211; there was no way Njoro was broke &#8211; but with the way he was he was drinking&#8230;mmmh red flag.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_141151\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-141151\" style=\"width: 432px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/07\/Screenshot-2020-07-21-at-08.20.26.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-141151\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/07\/Screenshot-2020-07-21-at-08.20.26.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"432\" height=\"538\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/07\/Screenshot-2020-07-21-at-08.20.26.jpg 432w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2020\/07\/Screenshot-2020-07-21-at-08.20.26-241x300.jpg 241w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 432px) 100vw, 432px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-141151\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Njoro with Zeddy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">I say this because in mid 2020 the comedian was rumored to be facing some mental health struggles due to finances. From the rumors circulating on social media is that Njoro has turned to alcohol for comfort; something that forced his wife and kids to move out &#8211; leaving him on his own. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Kenyans step in<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As usual Kenyans on social media including his colleagues offered to help the young man bounce back; but before that he had to undergo some rehabilitation to help stop with the alcohol abuse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">However before moving to rehab &#8211; Njoro held a candid interview with Massawe Jappani to share his story; now that everyone was branding him an alcoholic. Speaking on the interview, the comedian did not just admit to having slipped but confessed how he wasted<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Sh3.9 million on alcohol and parties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">From what he said is that he had made this money from the three US trips he had made in 2019 which earned him Sh1.3 million in each. However seeing how easy it was to make this kind of money he ended up wasting it all by spoiling his friends and others. He said;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;It was party after party for me. I had so much money at the time and I did not think it would ever run out. And of course him being a celebrity, his presence at the pub wouldn\u2019t have gone unnoticed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>But unlike other Twitter users who would have used this opportunity to roast Njoro, the guy instead pleaded with Njoro\u2019s close circle to check up on their boy.
