Wema Sepetu was arrested on February 4th 2017 in a drug sweep. The former Tanzanian beauty queen was found in possession of marijuana at her house.<\/p>\n

Wema spent close to a week in police custody before she was finally presented in court. She was charged with being in possession of 1.80 grams of marijuana.<\/p>\n

Wema’s case has been dragging in court for months. The last time her case was heard was on November 16th, the case was postponed to November 24th.<\/p>\n

Wema expresses her misery<\/h3>\n

The former Tanzanian beauty queen says she been having sleepless nights because of her court case. She revealed this a few days after Elizabeth Michael Lulu was sentenced to two years in prison.<\/p>\n

Wema told Global Publishers that she has no peace in her heart. She explains that sometimes she can’t even travel out of Tanzania because of her case.<\/p>\n

“Wema alise\u00adma: \u201cYaani kiukweli kabisa kesi inaninyima sana usingizi jamani, nakosa amani na wakati mwingine hata ukitaka ku\u00adbadilisha hali ya hewa nje ya nchi haiwezekani, in\u00adaumiza sana,” Wema Sepetu said.<\/p>\n
