They have since passed on their new findings to their forensic department which is looking into the DNA material found on it.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_185111\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-185111\" style=\"width: 720px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/Jeff-Mwathi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-185111\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/Jeff-Mwathi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/Jeff-Mwathi.jpg 720w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/Jeff-Mwathi-300x265.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-185111\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The late Jeff Mwathi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>DJ Fatxo had previously been cleared by police officers who had closed the case claiming it to be a matter of self-deletion by the late Jeff Mwathi, a claim which riled up Kenyans into anger and they in turn pushed Kithure Kindiki, the Cabinet Secretary of Interior and Administration of National Government into tasking his charges to do a more thorough investigation.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000\"><a style=\"color: #008000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/the-speculation-against-dj-fatxo-has-gone-too-far\/\">The Speculation Against DJ Fatxo Has Gone Too Far<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The DCI further revealed that they are embarking on the next subsequent phase of their investigations which will see them interrogating the suspects in the case. There are several persons of interest including DJ Fatxo himself, his cousin and their driver as well as the 3 women they had been partying with while in the company of the deceased.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_184809\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-184809\" style=\"width: 616px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/images-2023-03-09T112146.448.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-184809\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/images-2023-03-09T112146.448.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/images-2023-03-09T112146.448.jpeg 616w, https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2023\/03\/images-2023-03-09T112146.448-300x243.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-184809\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dj Fatxo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Previously, when the matter first surfaced, the DJ shared some rather cryptic but insinuating posts on his social media saying things like, &#8220;The wages of sin is death&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000\"><a style=\"color: #008000\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/dj-fatxo-should-just-shut-up\/\">DJ Fatxo should just shut up<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The father of the late Jeff Mwathi had pleaded with the government to look into the matter and it seems his pleas were heeded.
