Babu Owino is disenchanted with the taxation imposed by the government on beauty products in the country.<\/p>\n

He criticised President William Ruto for imposing tax on the beauty industry which has for many years been left untouched.<\/p>\n

Owino on Sunday said\u00a0it is not good for the government to steal from ladies.<\/p>\n

According to Owino, the beauty industry serves a significant purpose in creating revenue for the country. How? Well, he claims that most Kenyan ladies are beautified with products such as wigs & weaves.<\/p>\n

“A real man should not steal from ladies. Our ladies are now putting on these wigs and weaves to attract tourists,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Kenyans will lose billions of dollars because tourists will cease coming here. Because a lot of taxes are now going to purchase these items that our ladies are using,” Owino said.<\/p>\n
