Former Citizen TV news anchor Jacque Maribe defended herself against accusations she has a hand in the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani. Appearing before the court, Maribe defended herself claiming that on the fateful night, she was with her then-friends Anita Thumbi, Chelangat Ruto, Mike Sonko and others.<\/p>\n

The former anchor added that her ex-boyfriend Jowie joined them at Club Forty-Forty at around midnight and they went home at 4am.<\/p>\n

Former Nairobi Governor Sonko confirmed that he was indeed with Maribe at Citizen TV during an interview, where after they went to party. He took to social media to address the issue.<\/p>\n
