Sarah Cheruiyot, the mother of President William Ruto, showed wonderful maternal concern by reaching out to writer Zipporah Achieng.<\/p>\n
Achieng was handling a camera while wearing a short, bodycon dress at the time of the incident, which happened at an event held at the Uasin Gishu county administrative building.<\/p>\n
Mama Sarah acted right away out of concern for Achieng’s convenience and comfort. She approached the young journalist and covered her with a Maasai shuka, saying she was concerned Achieng could have trouble stooping to pick up any fallen items.<\/p>\n
Mama Sarah quietly sat back down after carefully putting the shuka around Achieng’s waist, leaving the bystanders amazed and intrigued.<\/p>\n
Achieng quickly left the gathering while still donning the shuka in response to the circumstance. To everyone’s surprise, she then emerged a short while later dressed in a blue trouser suit. It soon became clear that her leaving wasn’t a protest but an attempt to address the issue and express her gratitude.<\/p>\n
