Charlene Ruto, the daughter of Kenyan President William Ruto, recently shared her experience of being stung by bees while harvesting honey at her grandparents’ farm in Uasin Gishu County.<\/p>\n

In a statement posted on Twitter, Ruto said that she was stung three times because her beekeeping suit was not fully zipped up. However, she said that the stings were not serious and that she learned a valuable lesson about the importance of safety in beekeeping.

Ruto has been vocal about her interest in apiculture, and she has also taken steps to promote beekeeping in Kenya.
