{"id":196376,"date":"2023-10-11T11:30:18","date_gmt":"2023-10-11T08:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.com\/ke\/?p=196376"},"modified":"2023-10-11T11:30:18","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T08:30:18","slug":"kenya-power-announces-power-outages-in-parts-of-five-counties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ghafla.co.ke\/ke\/kenya-power-announces-power-outages-in-parts-of-five-counties\/","title":{"rendered":"Kenya Power Announces Power Outages In Parts Of Five Counties"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-sourcepos=\"3:1-3:182\">Kenya Power has announced that there will be scheduled power outages on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in select parts of five counties: Nairobi, Bomet, Trans Nzoia, Nyeri, and Kiambu.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:54\">The outages will affect the following areas and times:<\/p>\n<ul data-sourcepos=\"7:1-12:0\">\n<li data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:123\"><strong>Nairobi:<\/strong>\u00a0Evergreen area (parts of Runda, Woodvale Drive, Mugumo Drive, and parts of Ruaka Road) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"8:1-8:70\"><strong>Bomet:<\/strong>\u00a0Chebunyo, Emarti, and Kaboson areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:70\"><strong>Trans Nzoia:<\/strong>\u00a0Gumo farm and Elgon tea areas from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"10:1-10:59\"><strong>Nyeri:<\/strong>\u00a0Ndima and Kiaruhiu areas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/li>\n<li data-sourcepos=\"11:1-12:0\"><strong>Kiambu:<\/strong>\u00a0Kamwangi, Igegania, and Icaciri from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"13:1-13:106\">Kenya Power apologizes for any inconvenience the outages may cause and asks customers to plan accordingly.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"15:1-15:155\">Please note that these are scheduled power outages and may be subject to change.
