Jackie Matubia, a Kenyan actress and mother of two, is refusing to let her recent relationship breakup stop her from shining. In a new YouTube video, Matubia shares her new outlook on life, which she describes as “catching flights, not feelings.”<\/p>\n
\n“I am a proud single mother of two,” Matubia says in the video. “I decided what makes Jackie happy is good vibes, Inshallah, and catching flights, not feelings.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Matubia recently took her two daughters on a trip to Dubai, which was funded by her first baby daddy. She advises other single mothers to choose their baby daddies wisely.<\/p>\n
\n“Even if you decide to get children, pateni watoto na watu wako na akili,” Matubia says, laughing. “Hehe juu wengine wetu pia, even me who is advising you pia kimeniramba.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Matubia is aware that her life is a trending topic, but she says she is just focused on loving herself and putting herself first. She is also grateful for her small, God-centered family.<\/p>\n
\n“He has held me when everything in my life was falling apart,” Matubia says of God. “He reassured me that he’s got me.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
