The magistrate oversees the Small Claims Court.<\/p>\n<p>This was the outcome of her choice to have Salasya pay back a loan owed to businessman Robert Lutta in the amount of 50,000 Kenyan Shillings.<br \/>\nThe businessman claimed to have given the MP a loan on December 13 of the previous year, and he filed a case to get the money back through a KCB bank account.<br \/>\nThe Law Society of Kenya (LSK) and the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association (KMJA), among other institutions, have denounced Salasya and asked the DCI to look into the claims as soon as possible.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Peter Salasya, the Mumias East member of parliament, was questioned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday.
