Two suspects, George Nitti and Raphael Mbithi, both 37 years old, were arrested in the operation.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:90\">The National Police Service (NPS) confirmed the arrests in a statement, stating that the DCI officers intercepted the drugs and suspects in the Swallows area of Kilifi South on December 6th, 2023.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:10\">&#8220;The motor vehicle used to transport the drugs, a Toyota Harrier with registration number KDK020B, was also impounded,&#8221; the NPS statement added.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:117\">The investigation is currently underway by the DCI. The NPS reaffirmed its commitment to combating criminal activity.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:212\">Nitti and Mbithi are currently in police custody awaiting arraignment.
