Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) are intensifying efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman discovered with her hands bound at City Park in Nairobi.<\/p>\n
The victim, identified as Ms. Rosemary Shikuku, has been positively identified by detectives, who are now pursuing crucial leads, including a police abstract issued at Kamukunji Police Station.<\/p>\n
“We are still pursuing leads that will assist us in understanding what might have happened. However, her native home has been known,” stated a DCI detective who spoke confidentially to a reporter.<\/p>\n
The discovery of Ms. Shikuku’s body was made by a man taking a walk around the Parklands area. Initially, he thought the 35-year-old was napping in public with her belongings nearby. However, upon closer inspection, he noticed her hands were tied, and there were injuries on her head.<\/p>\n
The man promptly informed the police, who arrived at the crime scene. During their search, clothes were found in a bag near the body.<\/p>\n
Investigations suggest that the woman was not murdered at the scene, as there were no signs of a struggle or disturbance. Currently, detectives are working to determine the exact location where the crime occurred before the body was brought to the park.<\/p>\n
