The Bishop claimed police officers roughed her up inappropriately during the demolition of her church on Haile Selassie Avenue.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:164\">Wanjiru, visibly upset, declared that the government had initiated a conflict &#8220;they cannot win.&#8221; She warned those involved that they would face divine retribution.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:354\">&#8220;Let me be clear, President and Deputy President,&#8221; Wanjiru stated. &#8220;From this day on, this Margaret Wanjiru, who was assaulted, whose clothes were lifted by young policemen&#8230;they touched my thighs, a woman of God. Believe me, you will regret this. You went after Benny Hinn in America, but you will look for me. I&#8217;m not leaving, I&#8217;m not going anywhere.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"11:1-11:213\">The Bishop went on to claim the government was using Kenya Railways as a tool and expressed pity for their families.
