The researchers discovered that divorcing fathers tended to work in larger firms with a higher percentage of female employees.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"7:1-7:250\">According to the study, the increased exposure to potential alternative mates in gender-balanced workplaces may reduce the &#8220;cost&#8221; of extramarital search, making it more likely for married individuals to pursue relationships outside of their marriage.<\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"9:1-9:337\">Parental divorce has been shown to have significant negative consequences for children&#8217;s long-term outcomes. Boys from divorced families are more likely to experience lower educational attainment, poorer job prospects, and early death.
